🕊️ Anchoring Our Souls

A Sacred Path to Spiritual Resilience

6-Week In-Person Course | Fall 2025

Ward Parkway Presbyterian Church

When Life Feels Hard, God Holds Us Steady

Sometimes life feels scary, busy, or too heavy.

The world around us can feel confusing.

We may feel tired, sad, or unsure what to do next.

This 6-week class will help you feel

calmer, stronger, and closer to God.

In Anchoring Our Souls,

we will meet each week to talk, pray, breathe,

and learn simple ways to feel steady—even when life is not.

We will use words from the Bible, especially Psalm 121,

to remind us that God is always with us, helping us feel safe.

“The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore.”

-Psalm 121

This means God watches over us—everywhere we go, every day.
This course will help us believe that again.

🙋 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Q: Do I have to talk about my feelings in front of everyone?

A: No. You can share if you feel ready, but you don’t have to. Just being there and listening can still help you feel better.

A: Yes! This is a space where you can ask questions, express doubts, and still feel welcome. God can handle your honest feelings.
